Margaret Denise is 3 months old

Three Months
13.2 lbs

Maggie is sleeping well, somewhere between 8-10 hours. She's eating every 3 hours. She smiles a smile that makes her whole body wiggle. She is such a joyful baby and it's contagious. She loves her brothers and her mommy and daddy. She has rolled over from her tummy to her back a couple of times, but not regularly. She has rolled from her back to her tummy in her bed, but it doesn't seem too intentional yet as she then yells and looks very belligerent like, "who put me on my face?!" She can sit up  in the Bumbo for a little bit and she really enjoys her play mat. She does an ok job in the car. It's sort of hit or miss, sometimes she likes it and sometimes she cries. That's when her super brothers come in and start talking to her and singing her made up songs from the back seat. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it just adds to the noise level in the already loud car, but either way it is beyond precious how they want to help so badly. It has been a sweet 3 months with our baby girl and we can already hardly remember what life was like without her.

Lockridgeland Catch Up

Man this family of 5 thing is busy! I'm amazed at how much laundry is added when you add a new little person to the mix. And naps take up so much time. You just forget. So life is moving on and we're moving with it and staying busy and having fun in true Lockridge fashion. Here's a quick catch up.

We attended an engagement party for two of Sarah & Drew's friends. We've known Kaila since she was like 12 and we're so glad she and Stephen have found each other. And what a great excuse for a Harden family picture.

Maggie was invited to date night too.

Swinging on the swing set with Mommy. She's just a joyful girl.

Staying busy with our MOPS group at the Stockton Children's Museum. Vrooom Caleb!

Levi started soccer this year. (Caleb is a little bummed to be left out.) Go team Smash!

And these three really love each other. I call them the Smother Brothers because they are constantly on her or near her or arguing over whose turn it is to look at her. And she adoringly gazes at them and smiles and coos. They're her favorites.

Levi Daniel is 5!

Levi Daniel
48 inches
51 pounds
Levi is fun-loving, sensitive, smart, opinionated, inquisitive, rough, rambunctious, tender-hearted, and a fantastic big brother. He is equal parts fearless and cautious. He can be brave, the first one to volunteer to try something new, but more often than not he sits back and watches until he has figured out how to do something and then nails it on his very first try. He is crazy athletic and can hit the cover off a baseball. He loves school and really likes to have us spell out words so he can write lists. He goes back and forth about his career choices, it's something he brings up often. Right now it's army guy or police man, or someone who invents things like Leonardo Da Vinci. (His words not mine.) He loves his brother and sister, his cousins, his family, and he makes friends very easily. I constantly hear him yelling while at the park, "Mom! I made a new friend!" And then he promptly invites these strangers to our house. Bless him. He is growing and learning new things every day and he is so much fun to have around. I can not believe he is 5 years old. When did this happen? :) We celebrated his birthday with an Army party. Camo and boys galore.

Grandma Lockridge and Maggie were the welcome crew.

I think we counted 13 boys under the age of 7. It was a disaster. And SO MUCH FUN!!

Happy Birthday big guy!

Redwood Christian Park 2015

This year we packed up our car (to the brim) and spent a week in the Santa Cruz mountains at a camp my family used to go to every year. We claimed a big cabin, down past the Ark (yes, there is an Ark replica) and we had an absolute blast. The boys are old enough to go to their own classes and learn and play and have some freedom to explore. And the best part? Our cousins were right next door!

Welcome to camp from these Rad kids!

Cousins & brothers & best friends for life.

Eskimo Jesus is so funny!

More cousin fun.

Cousin Liam was there too.

Maggie loved camp and spent most of the week in the Ergo.

The Lockridge boys all conquered the climbing wall, the swimming pool, the slides, and even a good hike.

I'm telling you, best slides around!

And Auntie Sarah was able to come up for a couple days too.

I celebrated my 32nd birthday and Dave and my 9th anniversary while at camp. They threw us a big party (ok it might not have just been for us) and I decided to show up the kids by hitting the bungee jump. We can't let the littles have all the fun, right? :)

4th of July

It's not a true Modesto summer without the annual Concert in the Park, 4th of July Parade, and pool party! We had a blast and Maggie was a trooper just going with the flow and getting passed around from one adoring fan to another. We celebrated our favorite holiday at Amy & Joel's house which was  a first for us and I'm thinking we have a new tradition!

Goofy brothers.

July at a glance

Summer always goes by too fast. With Levi out of school for the summer, and all our teacher friends and family, we're always go, go, going all summer long. We saw a lot, did a lot, and Maggie experienced more in her few short months than most big kids have! Here's a quick peek of part of our busy July:

Swim lessons for our big boys and our neighbor friend, Molly. They sure love each other!

Lots of backyard batting practice with our multi-tasking Daddy.

One of Levi's top 5 moments of summer: Jumping off the big diving board at swim lessons.

Plenty of Concerts in the Park and cuddles with baby sister.

We hiked around Knights Ferry with 4 kids in tow.

Tour of the Stanislaus County Fair with our cousins and our MOPS group.
