April Catch Up

The month of April has been beautiful and full of sunshiny days and the Lockridges have taken advantage of it. We have completed phase one of our backyard and we're already enjoying the benefits of a field full of grass. Levi has spent many afternoons just running around, kicking a ball and playing with lots and lots of bubbles. Dave even completed two fence fixes (who knew he knew how to do such a thing?!) and so no more attempted escaping dogs or children. Win! We had a truck load of dirt delivered to level out the ground and then lots of sod to lay before we could play. We still have empty flower beds filled with dirt but the most important step is complete.

Our big helper Levi working hard in the yard with Daddy.
I found Levi a shovel and a rake at the dollar store so he could do some work too. I think he mainly liked pushing his cars around the dirt and posing in all the hats he could find.

Caleb wasn't such a big help in the yard, but he's been loving the weather and the time outside. Although, he can't quite figure out why the Giants are on the front page of the sports section every day. Ugh. GO DOYERS!!!

My fair skinned boy and his hat. :)

Bubbles!
One of Levi's first, understandable, two different syllable words.

This was the view out of my kitchen window as I made dinner the other night. I LOVE these Lockridge boys.

With the weather getting warmer we've had a couple of opportunities to swim in Grammy and Papa's pool. Levi loved it as much as he did last summer and is just as fearless. Can't wait for some swim lessons!
Papa & Levi enjoying the pool!

Just like Daddy!

Me and my boys!
The best poolside seat according to Levi? Right on top of Uncle Bryan. What a goofball! Good thing his Uncle is a good sport!

And a couple of random April photos for good measure:
Dave tried to get some work done after dinner the other night but these boys had other plans.

Caleb is getting pretty good at rolling around and pushing himself up so Levi decided to begin his brotherly duties by showing Caleb how to crawl. I'm not sure any progress was made but Caleb sure got the giggles watching Levi crawl all around his room.

Thanks Auntie Sarah for our Costco sized bear. We'll be so glad to visit it whenever we're at Grammy's! :)

That's almost the end of our April catch up but I have two more events that deserve their own posts. We're looking forward to May and one family wedding this coming weekend and one more month till another. Yay for all the wedding love and festivities!

Thanks April for the sunshine-- keep it coming!
