Lockridge Family Pictures 2013

My sweet friend Brittany Burrow met up with us to take some family pictures for our Christmas cards. Right in the midst of our sicky month, after changing dates and times twice, we just decided to go through with it even though our boys were not feeling stellar. She did a great job, put up with more than she bargained for, and still came away with some great shots. Thanks Brittany!

November Catch Up

The month of November flew by, mostly because we spent the month with one type of sickness or another. :( We started off with colds at Halloween, Dave got bronchitis, then slowly ended the month with the stomach flu. Yuck. I'm glad November is over and we're hoping for a healthier December in Lockridge land.

But don't worry, we still managed a few fun moments in the midst of the crankiness...

Airplanes in the living room with Daddy.

A trip to Mariposa to play in the mountains.

Chopping wood with Daddy and Uncle Charlie.

Riding on the "motorcycle"-- Uncle Charlie drives fast!

Cuddles with Grammy.

Enjoying Grammy's Dollar Store finds with their new army man outfits.

Dave and I got a date night at the SJ Sharks game with Charlie and Christina.

Mommy and the boys are enjoying our MOPS meetings and after meeting McDonald's trips.

Cleaning up the garage with Daddy.

We missed Thanksgiving with my side of the family completely because I had 2 out of 3 boys throwing up. So we stayed home, recuperated, and Caleb and I went to Denny's for Thanksgiving dinner. I was not feeling very thankful that day. But on the bright side, we got to go to the Lockridge side for dinner on Saturday so we didn't miss out on turkey and fixings. Thank goodness!
Playing with Mr Potato Head.

Still feeling a little under the weather, we got lots of snuggles.

Goodbye November. Good riddance. :)

Halloween 2013

Fireman Caleb

Policeman Levi

My handsome Lockridge men and their frosting faces.

Bottoms cousins "fishing" for candy.

Playing carnival games and earning candy.

Silly cousins.

This is the exact moment Caleb figured out that his cousin Jack was that cool looking pirate.

Liam the Lion was there to celebrate with us too!

Trick-or-treat at Uncle Mike and Aunt Lori's house. She filled their buckets to the brim with treats and goodies!
Levi woke up on November 1st and said, "We go trick-or-treating again tonight?!" I wish buddy!

October Recap

So, yes, we're already a good ways into November and I'm still posting October pictures. Whoops! Life happens. We had a cram packed October with birthdays, engagements, surprise parties, surprise announcements, and lots and lots of fun and pumpkins. Here's a quick recap:

Visiting our favorite Fresno family! Here are 5 out of the 6 kids we got to spend the day with.

Our Daddy is so strong!

We got to watch Papa take off from the Modesto airport.

We played at a lot of parks and we're always silly!

Sarah and Drew came to town and told us they are engaged!!!
July 2014 here we come! :)

More pumpkin patch fun with Grammy and Papa and Auntie Sarah and UNCLE Drew!

We celebrated the engaged couple.

There were lots of kids there too.

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Lacey!

Have we mentioned we love Uncle Drew?!

We celebrated Uncle Bryan's birthday and the announcement of their new little one coming this April! Did I mention that 2014 is going to be a great year for our family?!!

We also celebrated Grandpa Lockridge's 60th birthday with a surprise party.
Happy Birthday Dad!

Lockridge Family picture attempt.

Going through pictures for the party we found this gem of Grandpa Lockridge as a little boy and I knew I had a similar one. So here's Caleb and Grandpa side by side at about the same age. Related much? :)

We also celebrated a birthday for our littlest guy and had a ton of fun at Halloween. More in a bit...

Caleb David is 2!

36 Inches
37 Pounds

Our sweet little guy is officially 2! We celebrated his birthday in a low key way with family time during the day and an impromptu cousins gathering at Daddy and Uncle Bryan's softball game that night. We made some cupcakes, sang Happy Birthday, and played at the park until they were all exhausted. It was a super fun day for our super fun boy.

All of a sudden Caleb is all little boy and doing so many new "big boy" things. He's talking up a storm, having full on conversations with his big brother, riding his balance bike, climbing everything, running faster, jumping (sort of), and all sorts of general boy things. We're so proud of the boy he's becoming and we love watching him do these new things. He loves that he can keep up with his big brother more and more and with that comes a little (ok a lot) more arguing over toys and equal portions and time spent and all those fun sibling things. While it can be trying and ear splitting, it really just means that Caleb has a voice and opinions of his own now and he's making himself heard. Literally. He's still a big love and he loves hugs and kisses and cuddles and head butts. He loves singing and music and "shaking his hips" and he likes to do his "exercises" where he attempts to do push ups but it really resembles somersaults. He can hit a baseball off a tee, just as good as his big brother, he throws a ball pretty well, and we're all going to have to watch out or channel his energy when he really starts playing sports and learns how to tackle because he can take us all out!

Happy 2nd Birthday Caleb!!! We love you and we can't wait to see more and more of the person you're going to become.
